Meet Anna Gosteva
Hi there! I'm Anna and I've been teaching for nearly ten years. I completed my Master of Teaching at Sydney University and subsequently finished a Master of Applied Linguistics and TESOL. I have a passion for English and I particularly enjoy instilling a love of all types of literature, from Shakespeare to Dostoevsky. I also speak Russian and French and enjoy noticing the connections between various languages.
I have worked across various contexts - I've taught in schools and private tutoring centres as well as tertiary colleges. I have also worked for Macquarie University as a dyslexia researcher and I have experience teaching dyslexic students one on one. I have taught Kindergarten to Year 12, but these days I tend to work primarily with high school English students.
